The reflection that we propose is focused on the dialectic generated by analysis in social anthropology, particularly in ethnography, from the perspective of hermeneutics, as a proposal that has been incubating from the theoretical elaborations of Hans G. Gadamer and Paul Ricoeur, and that have crystallized in anthropological theory developed around the 70s by Clifford Geertz and James Clifford, among others. We will present our position on the above theoretical elaborations, while we rely on the method and the reflection of the anthropological literature.
