This article aims to analyze, based on the romantic conceptions that came to the country through different ways, the artisan movement in the mids of the twentieth century in Colombia. Thus, we will shed light on the influence of romanticism on the artisan movement, an influence expressed on their continuous publications, their leader's speeches and some words denoting a previous knowledge, a terminology whose usage gives an account of some notions that otherwise they would not use.
